Jakarta Bina Marga Agency held simultaneous community work at five administration areas in Jakarta. The activity was held to realize clean and neat public facilities.

Agency Head, Heru Suwondo, explained the activity was held based on Agency Head's Instruction about Bina Marga Community Work.

It is hoped the activity will realize clean and comfort Jakarta. The activity was also posted on social media through hashtag #DBMKERJA #DBMKOMPAK.

"The personnel cleaned water line, arranged road border, cleaned sidewalk, shelter and pedestrian bridge. It is hope the activity will increase our cooperation also," Heru said, Saturday (3/2).

The activity, he added, involved 400 civil servants, 2,000 PJLP of Agency and Sub-agency. They cleaned those public facilities together.

The community work was implemented around Tanah Abang Station, Jalan Jati Baru Raya, Jalan Taman Jatibaru, around Pemuda Statue, around Orient Jakarta Hotel, around HI Roundabout, around Semanggi Intersection, Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Puri Kembangan, Jalan Puri Elok, Tomang Pump House, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Pemuda, and Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter.

The activity was also implemented at underpass pump spread in Central Jakarta, Soutu Jakarta, East Jakarta, and West Jakarta.

"It was started at 6 AM by opening the safety talk to make sure the safety of all apparatuses and personnel. After that, they started to clean gutter, water line, road repair, arranged road border, cleaned sidewalk and so on," he closed as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.
